About This Role
The Downtown Denver Partnership is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in its mission to create a vibrant, healthy, and economically strong downtown Denver.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in urban management, economic development, or related fields, with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
• Lead strategic planning and implementation of downtown initiatives
• Manage relationships with property owners, businesses, and city officials
• Oversee annual budget of $4.5M and team of 12 staff members
• Represent the organization at public meetings and events
• Drive economic development and placemaking initiatives
• Build partnerships with civic, business, and community leaders
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• 7+ years of experience in urban management or economic development
• Strong public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing budgets over $1M
• Knowledge of BID/downtown management best practices
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
