Old Town Albuquerque Moves Forward With BID Formation
The City of Albuquerque's Economic Development Department announced that Old Town. The city's tourist-anchored historic core, built around adobe-era architecture and museum-adjacent retail. Is moving forward with Business Improvement District formation. It's a corridor type Plat Street hasn't yet covered: heavily tourism-dependent, low year-round residential density, and an assessment base concentrated among small independent retailers rather than institutional property owners.
