Colquitt, GA DDA Begins Rehab of Vacant 1930s Gas Station Site
The Colquitt Downtown Development Authority began phase one of rehabilitating a vacant 1930s-era gas station site, a genuinely tiny project, but a clean instance of the vacant-anchor playbook Plat Street outlined in Issue 2's "Vacant Anchor Problem" piece, executed by one of the smallest DDAs currently in the coverage universe. It's DDA-as-developer at the scale where the model carries the least financial risk.
