Boulder BID: Board Candidate Slate Forms as DDA Formation Track Runs in Parallel
The Daily Camera reports on the emerging slate of candidates for the Boulder business improvement district's board of directors, arriving while the city's separate Downtown Development Authority formation feasibility process (which Issue 4 flagged as targeting a Fall 2026 formation vote) continues on its own track. Boulder now has three simultaneous district-governance threads running at once: existing BID board turnover, prospective DDA formation, and the residential vacancy tax question Issue 1 first covered.
Watch: Whether any of the incoming BID board candidates take a public position on the DDA formation question, which would be the first sign of how the two structures are expected to relate to each other.
